What is Osteopathy?

Osteopaths are “Body mechanics”, they detect and treat problems with joints, muscles, ligaments and nerves.

Who Are We?

Melanie undertook a four year full time BSc (Hons) degree in Osteopathic Medicine, at the British College of Naturopathy and Osteopathy in London. (Now the British College of Osteopathic Medicine). She also graduated with Diplomas in Osteopathy and Naturopathy.

Melanie graduated in 1997, and since then She has worked in New Zealand, where she worked alongside an Osteopath in a clinic, and GP’s in a Surgery. She returned to the North East of England in 1998, working with other Osteopaths. She started her own Business in 1998, where she worked in a Sports Complex, A GP Surgery, and worked with Industry.

Melanie has a keen interest in Ergonomics, and currently works with two large local Businesses. She has also given talks to business about Osteopathy and Ergonomics.
